Honorary Professor at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. Jean-Michel Servet is an associate researcher at Triangle (CNRS, ENS, University of Lyon 2) and at the European Microfinance Research Centre at the Free University of Brussels. He is the author of numerous books and articles on financial inclusion policies, the social and solidarity economy, and the history of economic and financial thought. His publications include "La vraie révolution du microcrédit" (2015), "Les monnaies du lien" (2012), "Le Grand renversement" (2010), "Banquiers aux pieds nus" (2006), and "L’euro au quotidien" (1998), as well as co-editing "The crises of Microcredit" (2015), "Le Marché autrement" (2015), "Une économie sans argent" (1999), and directing the Walras Centre’s reports on "Exclusion et liens financiers". He is a Research Associate of the Veblen Institute.
