Nicolas Béfort is working on developing a political economy of ecological transition, at the frontier of ecological economics, the economics of innovation and transition to sustainability studies. After having worked on the emergence and organisation of the bioeconomy, he is now interested in the transformation of agricultural practices in the perspective of an ecological bioeconomy.
He is developing this research at Neoma Business School where he is an assistant professor of economics and heads the Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development Chair.
