The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation responds to current challenges from two areas : sustainable food, which combines care for the planet, health, and social justice, and socially engaged art, which promotes creative expression as a form of participation and community cohesion.
It supports the Observatory of Societal Costs of Food project, co-led by the Veblen Institute with BASIC.
