Christian Chavagneux holds a PhD in economics and is a graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE). He works as a journalist and editorialist for the French monthly Alternatives Economiques, and appears regularly in other French media (“On n’arrête pas l’éco” on France Inter and “La librairie de l’éco” on BFM Business). He is the author of a dozen of books, including “Une brève histoire des crises financières. Des tulipes aux subprimes” (La Découverte, 2nd edition, 2020) and “Les plus belles histoires de l’escroquerie. Du collier de la reine à l’affaire Madoff” (Seuil, 2020).
